Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently in all weather and road conditions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Deliver freight to customer locations on or before the scheduled time, maintaining high customer service standards.
- Accurately maintain driver logs (ELD) and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding route changes and delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (passing DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
