Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) within NYC and surrounding areas
- Complete daily delivery routes with punctual and efficient service
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle secure cargo and verify shipment documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Strong time management and customer service skills
