Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over designated routes in and around the Nashville area and beyond.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on vehicle).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
