Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Nashville and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to dynamic schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Represent Nashville Express Logistics with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Nashville metro area and Tennessee highway systems
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
