Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) to transport freight across the Midwest region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Manage and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and address any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 6 months.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or dry van preferred but not required for qualified new drivers.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
