Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local and regional routes within the Minneapolis metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the truck clean and maintain professional appearance of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations, cargo securement, and safety standards.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
