Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on assigned routes in Miami and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are secured and accounted for before and after transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (electronic or paper) and complete necessary delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with the required endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred (Local Delivery experience is a plus).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
