Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional and local routes
- Deliver freight to Memphis-area distribution centers and client sites
- Maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and troubleshoot delays
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventive maintenance
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
