Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within Louisville metro area and regional routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Complete daily pre/post-trip inspections and electronic logs (ELD)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in freight handling when necessary (team environment)
- Represent Express Logistics with professional conduct at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with multi-stop deliveries and route navigation
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Previous experience in dry van/refrigerated transport preferred
