Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Louisville metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Louisville area routes and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to handle cargo and sit for extended periods
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
