Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner across the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to all safety protocols and weight restrictions.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and documentation according to FMCSA standards.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning to meet customer deadlines consistently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, logistics teams, and customers to resolve any operational issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred).
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and background requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to read and comprehend maps, delivery instructions, and safety manuals.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid US driver's license.
