Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution according to safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and logbook maintenance accurately.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company brand positively.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a DOT Medical Card and meet physical requirements for the position.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
