Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local, regional, and over-the-road routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securement and handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the NV Express brand on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in commercial truck driving.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement methods and safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays if required.
