Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Indiana and surrounding states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HAZMAT regulations (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
