Responsibilities
- Safe operation of Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional freight delivery
- Accurate completion of delivery paperwork and electronic logging
- Adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficient route planning and on-time delivery performance
- Vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance reporting
- Customer service communication at delivery points
- Collaboration with dispatch team for optimal load management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Passing DOT physical and drug screening required
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Smartphone with reliable data for mobile app access
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4-6 AM)
