Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet tight delivery windows
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle specialized freight including refrigerated and hazardous materials
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Louisiana roadways and port operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
