Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Miami-Dade and Broward counties
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws at all times
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Document all delivery transactions and maintain digital records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami metro area roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
