Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across designated Texas routes
- Complete timely deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route optimization
- Handle secure cargo transportation with proper documentation
- Represent SwiftShift with professional conduct at all client sites
- Participate in ongoing safety compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Basic navigation skills with GPS technology
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Must reside within 50 miles of Houston metro area
