Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) on Florida routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route navigation and on-time deliveries
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Florida CDL license (Class A or B) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Florida highway systems and regional regulations
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must own DOT-compliant safety gear (vest, gloves, etc.)
