Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight using specialized equipment when required
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather/traffic conditions
- Complete pre-trip/post-trip documentation and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient cargo handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Experience with reefers, flatbeds, or dry van trailers preferred
- Strong knowledge of Florida highway systems and regional routes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be 21+ years old and authorized to work in the US
