Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks on local and regional routes in and around Virginia Beach, VA.
- Load & Unload: Handle cargo responsibly, utilizing loading docks and forklifts as needed.
- Maintain Records: Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR), pre-trip, and post-trip checks.
- Route Management: Adhere to delivery schedules and navigate traffic efficiently.
- Compliance: Keep accurate logs and maintain a clean driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License: Required with no restrictions.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Record: No DUIs, major violations, or accidents in the last 3 years.
- Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
