Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) for local/regional routes
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Handle hazardous materials (if certified) and specialized freight with precision
- Document delivery receipts and report any transit irregularities
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami/Dade County traffic patterns and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
