Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently across Houston metro area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining excellent customer service
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper cargo securement
- Comply with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly as needed
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Knowledge of Houston area traffic patterns and delivery zones
