Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Keep the truck clean and maintain a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle cargo straps/bands.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours as required.
