Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Manage loading/unloading operations when required at delivery points
- Proactively report mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for overnight stays and irregular schedules
