Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on designated routes while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Inspect pre/post-trip vehicles and complete required documentation accurately
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain electronic logs and communicate effectively with dispatch team
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
