Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional routes in the Dallas metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight efficiently while maintaining proper handling procedures
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal routing and real-time communication
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Dallas metro routes and Texas highway systems
- Basic understanding of freight handling and securement procedures
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
