Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional and local routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper equipment handling
- Communicate dispatch updates and resolve delivery exceptions
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with Columbus metro area and Ohio highway systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
