We are looking for Class A and Class B drivers who take pride in their profession and safety record.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on assigned routes throughout the Cleveland area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring product integrity and adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes, delays, or delivery issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and maintain professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 90 days.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Company will provide training for qualified new graduates).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
