Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) ensuring cargo security.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs (EOBR) and adhere to all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) card.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
