Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) to deliver goods on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Plan efficient routes and adapt to changing delivery conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch to resolve route issues or delays
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work weekends and early morning shifts as needed
