Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT compliant) and maintain professional communication with dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferably Hazmat or Tanker).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen.
- Ability to lift and move cargo of varying weights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
