Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo safety and accuracy.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain proper signatures upon completion of routes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the assigned vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to strict DOT Hours of Service (HOS) and logbook requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred but not always required for top candidates).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
