Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional routes within the Baltimore metropolitan area
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients for seamless deliveries
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Represent Baltimore Logistics Solutions with professional conduct at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
