Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Inspect vehicle prior to and following each shift to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Manage delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts, accurately.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery sites.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to strict schedules and time windows to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required (depending on role).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
