Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) within Los Angeles metro area
- Complete daily delivery routes with GPS tracking adherence
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route adjustments
- Verify shipment documentation and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA metro routes and traffic patterns
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
