Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year driving record
- 1+ year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as needed
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation and bill of lading procedures
