Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers)
- Deliver freight on schedule to Bay Area locations
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers for seamless deliveries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Utilize route optimization tools for efficient time management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally and climb trailer decks
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based communication
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
