Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during transit
- Assist in freight handling when necessary to maintain delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Louisville metro area and regional road networks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00-5:00 AM)
