Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local NYC deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Represent NYC Express Logistics professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital logs
- NYC Commercial Driver's License preferred
