Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within Washington DC metropolitan area
- Complete timely deliveries of freight to commercial and residential locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR and acceptable background check
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington DC traffic regulations and delivery zones
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic navigation proficiency (GPS systems)
