Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in local, regional, and long-haul environments.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers during deliveries.
- Uphold all company policies regarding DOT regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
