Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Load/unload freight with precision and care
- Navigate Bay Area routes efficiently using GPS technology
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments
- Uphold strict safety protocols and customer service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California weight laws and hazardous materials (HAZMAT certification a plus)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Must be authorized to work in the US
