Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Fully document cargo, delivery receipts, and timesheets accurately.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company's brand on the road.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical examination on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate driving regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
