Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Transport time-sensitive freight between Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Secure and verify cargo documentation for each shipment
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Represent our company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class A CDL with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- HAZMAT certification preferred
