Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner according to DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, utilizing proper handling techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD), delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and safety personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety regulations.
