Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods on local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide outstanding customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Document delivery information and maintain shipment records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal scheduling and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Diego metro area and Southern California routes
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
