Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks
- Deliver freight on time in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC traffic regulations and routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
- Must be at least 21 years old
