Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage loading/unloading operations efficiently
- Represent Desert Star Transport with professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (Nevada or state reciprocal)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Las Vegas metro area and surrounding regions
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
