Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes while meeting strict timelinesInspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all California state driving laws and company policies
- Represent Golden State Transport with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery zones
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
